We are always happy to partner with new school districts or charter schools. There is a dual credit opportunity appropriate for every student, and we want to help you make dual credit possible for your students.
School districts may schedule an appointment by emailing the Office of Dual Credit Programs at dualcredit@lamarpa.edu or calling us at (409) 984-6102.

Once dual credit students have met with their school counselor, new students should complete an application to Lamar State College Port Arthur using the Apply Texas website.
After submitting an application to the college, dual credit students should wait 2-3 business days to receive an email with instructions for setting up their MyLSCPA accounts.
Dual credit students are required to submit forms. Many of these forms are submitted by the school counselor, school registrar, or school nurse. Check with your school counselor to see if the following documents will be submitted on your behalf.

Receive your LSCPA student ID (P#) and access to MyLSCPA, Blackboard, and college email.
First, dual credit students should determine if they need to pay for classes. Check with your school district to see if it will cover the costs associated with dual credit. In addition, Lamar State College Port Arthur waives tuition for some dual credit students.
